What is a dye lot?

We dye our fabrics in large batches and while we work really hard to maintain consistency between different batches, there can be slight color variations (generally not very noticeable).

A dye lot is a specific amount of fabric dyed at one time. This is standard with any company/fabric! Because dyeing is a chemical process, no two dye lots are exactly the same. We have strict quality assurance standards in place to ensure all Lavetir colors are as close as possible and any variances are unnoticeable.
